On August 5th, the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, participated in the Bhumi Pooja for Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Very few guests were invited to the ceremony, because of the situation of Coronavirus in the country.

One of the people who were invited to the ceremony, and also graced the stage along with the PM is the head of the Ram Janmabhoomi Theertha Kshetra Trust or the Ram Temple trust in Ayodhya.

Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, 82, was among the five people on the stage at the grand ceremony at Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh on August 5. The others on the stage were Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Governor Anandiben Patel and Mohan Bhagwat, chief of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the BJP’s ideological mentor.

Gopal Das has now tested positive for Coronavirus, and is now expected to be shifted to Medanta Hospital, where he will be receiving treatment for the virus.

With the news of Gopal Das testing positive for Coronavirus, everyone is now worried about the PM’s health as he came in contact with Das on August 5th.

Here’s hoping that the PM is safe, and that Das soon recovers from the virus.
