Coronavirus: Bengaluru reimposes lockdown, Telangana next?

A total lockdown has been reimposed in the city of Bengaluru because of the drastic rise in the number of cases in the city.

A 7-hour window, from 5 AM to 12 PM has been given to the citizens to get any essentials that they require. Apart from that, everything else will be closed in Bengaluru after 12 PM, even daily essential stores.

While rumors of another lockdown in Hyderabad and Telangana were surfacing a few weeks ago, they soon died down, with many ministers ruling out the option.

However, Hyderabad is one of the major cities contributing to most of the cases in the country currently. Each day, more than 1000 people are testing positive in the city, and the situation is getting worse by the day.

Looking at the way Coronavirus is spreading in the city, it is currently safer to impose another lockdown so that the spreading can be controlled at least to a certain extent.
