Prince Charles of Britain, the first in line to ascend the throne after the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, has tested positive for coronavirus.
An official statement has been released by Clarence House, the Prince’s official residence. The statement said that Charles has been experiencing mild symptoms for a few days now, but has been in perfect health otherwise.
The Prince’s wife has also tested for the virus, and her results came negative.
On the other hand, Queen Elizabeth II has gone into self-isolation at Windsor Castle, leaving Buckingham Palace.
