As per the latest reports, a police case has been registered against Telugu Desam Party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh for breaching lockdown regulations.
Incidentally, Chandrababu and Lokesh had traveled to Andhra Pradesh recently, saying they would meet with Vizag LG polymers gas leak victims.
However, a case has been filed against Chandrababu and Lokesh for ignoring lockdown regulations and holding a public gathering. Also, they had allegedly not taken any safety precautions like wearing a mask and did not practice social distancing either.
The fact that TDP forces held rallies to celebrate the return of Chandrababu to Andhra Pradesh is adding more weight to this case.
A case under section 3 of the Epidemic diseases act has been lodged against Chandrababu and Lokesh. They will have to face the legal consequences for the same now.
