Coronavirus: High alert in AP, Jagan calls for key meeting

The government of Andhra Pradesh has announced high alert in the state, owing to the widespread Coronavirus. A total of 43 people who had travelled to religious congregation in Delhi have tested positive for Coronavirus and that set off the alarms.

The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has called for a high-level meeting with healthcare officials and home department.

Jagan ordered the concerned authorities to strictly implement the lockdown in the state in order to contain the spread of Coronavirus.

There are a total of 87 Coronavirus positive cases in Andhra Pradesh till date and 1 patient has recovered.
