Coronavirus numbers continue to increase at an alarming rate all over the world, with more than 10 million cases being reported worldwide so far.

The infections are increasing at a rate of 1%-2% on a daily basis, which means 1,00,000 to 2,00,000 cases every single day. This is significantly higher than the number of recoveries in a single day, which are around 80,000 to 1,30,000.

Of the ten million cases, the USA alone has reported 2.5 million cases, while Russia and India have reported more than half a million each.

Experts are saying that the world and India are very far from the peak and that the virus is about to become much worse in the coming days.

In India, Telangana is witnessing a sudden surge in the number of cases and has the maximum caseload as of now. Within a span of three days, Telangana has reached the eighth position in the top ten most affected states in India, and the numbers are only increasing in the state.

With low rates of testing and increasing caseload, Telangana is in a dire situation currently and requires immediate action to rectify the situation before it gets uncontrollable.
