With more than 6 Lakh Coronavirus cases to India’s name, India is among the top 5 most affected countries. The numbers in the country are only increasing by the day, and don’t seem like they will go down any soon.

It is already known that India’s first vaccine, Covaxin, developed by Bharat Biotech India Limited is now conducting human trials. If everything goes well, this vaccine might be available to the public by August 15.

Now, India’s second vaccine, developed by Zydus Cadila, has been given permission by the Drug Controller General of India (DGCI) to proceed with human trials.

Zydus Cadila’s vaccine has given impressive results when pre-clinical tests were conducted on various animals like rats, mice, guinea pigs, etc.

It has also been reported that pharmaceutical giant Cadila Health Care has been ramping up testing on not one, but two potential Coronavirus vaccines. It is also producing bulk amounts of Hydroxychloroquine drug.
