The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy spoke with home department officials at his residence today and passed a few strict orders regarding the lockdown.
“The lockdown should be implemented in a stern manner. Public gatherings should be avoided at all costs,” he said.
Jagan ordered the police department to shut down the state borders in order to make sure that no new potential Coronavirus patients will enter the state.
Jagan urged the police department not to take things lightly as the results can be fatal if the Coronavirus cases start increasing at a rapid pace.
It is already known that Andhra Pradesh government announced a curfew from 9PM to 6AM till March 31st.
