The number of Coronavirus cases are only rapidly increasing with each passing day, as more and more people are testing positive for the virus.
A total of 8171 people have tested positive in the last 24 hours, along with 204 new deaths. More than 8000 cases were reported even on Sunday, making it the biggest jump for India so far. The numbers don’t seem like they will be slowing down anytime soon either.
India is very close to the mark of 2,00,000, and is now among the top 7 most affected countries in the world. The nationwide lockdown initially helped in controlling the spread of the virus, but it hasn’t been so helpful for more than a month now.
The government has now allowed many relaxations all over India, in an attempt to boost the Indian economy which has been suffering ever since the initial lockdown was announced on March 25th.
The government is taking the route of a phased exit. Proper rules and regulations will be given for everything that’s opening, and proper care will be taken while opening and running everything.
