The spreading of Coronavirus was controlled to a large extent when a nationwide lockdown was announced initially. Few number of cases were registered back then, but the scenario is totally different right now.

The number of new Coronavirus cases have been seeing a huge spike for more than a month now. The last 24 hours have set a new record, with 6,654 cases being recorded.

Experts had said that India could see its peak in June-July, and this could be a result of that. The rate at which the cases are increasing is quite worrisome, though.

The government has also ramped up testing, because of which more people are testing positive. On the brighter side, India has an impressive recovery rate, of over 40%.

India is now in its fourth phase of lockdown, which is till May 31st. A few relaxations have been given all over the country, in order to boost the economy.

In case you leave the house, make sure that you take proper precautions.
