The chief minister of Telangana K Chandrasekhar Rao called for a press meet today and announced that Telangana will lockdown till March 31st.
The TRS chief added that all government offices will remain closed and public transportation will be shutdown with immediate effect.
Every family which has ration card will be receiving 12 KG rice per head and also Rs 1500 to buy essential commodities. Emergency and ambulance services will be functional. Wine shops and liquor outlets will remain shut down.
KCR said that the people in the state followed Janatha curfew very well and urged them to maintain a similar discipline till March 31st.
Also, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy announced that the state will lockdown till 31st March.
