Hyderabad is officially one of the 13 cities that have reported the most number of Coronavirus cases in the country. These 13 cities have contributed to more than 70% of total Coronavirus cases in India.

When compared to the rest of India, these 13 cities are currently observing stricter lockdown rules. Hyderabad too is facing the same, with police personnel making sure that everyone sticks to the rules.

Chief Minister KCR has said that all the containment zones on Hyderabad will continue to remain under total lockdown, even as the rest of the city will see a few relaxations.

All shops have been given permission to be open till 8PM, and only pharmacies and hospitals can stay open after 8. A curfew from 9PM to 5AM has been imposed in the city.

Shopping malls haven’t yet been given permission by the state government to open up, but they are expected to open up from June 8th, as per the statement that the central government has released.
