Ever since Coronavirus took over the world, every single country has been trying its level best to come up with a vaccine that could put an end to this devastating global pandemic. However, a single breakthrough hasn’t been made yet, with trials still running on all vaccines.

According to a recent study, China’s Coronavirus Vaccine candidate, BBIBP-CorV, is said to be highly effective towards the virus, and is said to be able to eradicate the virus from a person’s body. This vaccine is said to elicit an antibody response in the body, which completely inactivated the virus. This study has been published by The Lancet.

The vaccine has been tested in people aged 18-80, and antibodies have been generated in all of them. However, people aged above 60 were slow to respond to the vaccine, as their immune system is weaker when compared to the others.

There’s still no clarity over when this vaccine would be released, and if it would be released worldwide.
