India once again saw the biggest jump in the last 24 hours, with more than 22,000 patients testing positive. It is quite puzzling, as to how the numbers are growing so rapidly, but one thing is for sure, a solution is to be obtained sooner rather than later.

On the other hand, the last few days have seen a drastic change in the circumstances of where the numbers are coming from. With Maharashtra and Delhi being the most affected states previously, where there was a higher positivity rate, 4 South states are now likely to occupy these positions.

Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are seeing a sudden surge in the number of Coronavirus cases, with more and more cases being reported every single day.

These four states are now in the list of the top ten states with maximum case load, and have the highest growth rate, even when compared to growth rate of the country as a whole.

Maharashtra’s rate of positivity is at 18.24%, while Telangana’s rate of positivity is at 18.92%. These numbers are enough to indicate the dire circumstances that the people of Telangana are in.

It is time that the government steps up and takes necessary actions, thereby controlling the situation at least a little.
