Telangana assembly sessions which commenced on September 7th have been postponed with immediate effect owing to Covid-19, say latest reports.
Reportedly, 2 MLAs who attended the assembly sessions have tested positive for Covid-19.
Also, a police officer and 13 other assembly officials who took part in the assembly sessions have also tested positive for Covid-19.
Telangana assembly speaker Pocharam Srinivas has announced that the assembly sessions have been postponed indefinitely.
The ruling and the opposition parties have decided against holding assembly sessions and a decision has been made.
A total of 12 bills have been passed in these assembly sessions.
