In the view of Covid second wave, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has passed a sensational order pertaining to the vaccination of frontline workers.
The chief minister order the public health and welfare department to speed up the vaccination drive.
All the medical personnel, healthcare professionals, and frontline workers who are on Covid treatment duties will have to be vaccinated in the next 72 hours, Jagan ordered.
Each and every individual on Covid duty in Andhra Pradesh will be vaccinated within the next three days and this is a first-of-its-kind order in the country.
The state government recently requested 5 lakh doses of Covid vaccine and the centre had already shipped the same.
The vaccination drive will be ramped up in the next few days.
