Game over for two parties in Andhra Pradesh?

The people of Andhra Pradesh have bluntly rejected BJP and Congress in the recent assembly and parliamentary elections.

BJP could not even garner deposit in all 175 constituencies while Congress’s vote share is lesser than that of NOTA’s.

Improper bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh costed big time for Congress. On the the other hand, BJP was largely affected by Telugu Desam party’s never-ending verbal attacks. Even strong Narendra Modi wave could not save the party.

Many people are opining that this is the end of road for both the national parties in AP. That said, BJP is trying to hold their ground by siding with YSRCP. The saffron party has already invited YCP to join in the NDA alliance.
