The second wave of coronavirus is terrorizing the country, and many states have implemented restrictions on the movement of the people, to control the spread of the virus. So far, no lockdowns or restriction of movement has been put in place by the Telangana government in the state. The High Court of Telangana called out the government on the same today.
The HC asked the government to either implement night curfews or weekend lockdowns in the state, to control the spread of the virus. The HC warned the government that it would have to take things into its own hands if the government did not come up with a decision within the next 48 hours.
On the other hand, the number of cases in the state is rising with every passing day. There have been allegations on the government that it has been downplaying the impact of Coronavirus in the state.
