IPL: Teams start testing players for Covid-19

The coming season of the Indian Premier League is not far from now and all the franchises have started preparations for now.

Almost all the teams are expected to reach the host nation UAE by the end of this month as the tournament commences on September 19th.

Going by the latest reports, all the franchises have started testing their players for Covid-19.

Reportedly, a coaching member of Rajasthan Royals franchise has tested positive for Covid-19 and he was shifted to medical care facility immediately. The remaining staff and players might have to undergo quarantine now.

It is being said that all the franchises will be testing their players and staff at least five times before the commencement of the tournament.

Mumbai Indians franchise is planning to rent an apartment all for themselves in UAE to avoid risk of Covid-19 transmission.

IPL will be kick-starting on September 19th and the final match will be played on November 20th. The first match is between Mumbai and Chennai.
