Is Telangana government taking a risk by doing this?

It was announced that the Telangana government would allow the Telugu film industry to resume shootings from June 1st. The meeting involved biggies like Megastar Chiranjeevi, Chief Minister KCR and Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav.

An official statement that was released said that shootings with a small crew would be allowed at first. Proper guidelines would be given by the government, and every movie team should abide by those rules.

The government is said to be doing this since lakhs of people are dependent upon the film industry, and are currently struggling to make it through a single day without income.

While it’s a great idea to restart shootings and give back their livelihood to people, it is also a huge risk to allow movie shootings.

Movie shootings are based in various locations, involving a large number of people. Anyone can contract the virus anywhere, and the entire team could be infected very soon.

This might be a huge risk for the Telangana government, but we have to now see what rules the government will come up with.
