Andhra Pradesh ex-Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has addressed the media after a long time. This marks the first time that the politician has openly spoken about the AP capital issue.
The politician said that despite enduring great loss and suffering this year, he is celebrating Bhogi since following customs and traditions despite everything is the best thing to do. He celebrated Bhogi with his fellow members of the party, and also gave out some bold statements against Jagan.
Chandrababu Naidu said that he burnt the J.N Rao and Boston Reports in the Bhogi fires since they are trash and rubbish. He said that if there was any insider trading, then it should be dealt with differently, and not shown on issues like the Capital. The ex-CM also said that after the division of the two states, it was important that there was a special identity to AP, and Amaravati was chosen in that stead. He said that this was to be continued, and not disrupted.
Chandrababu further went on to challenge CM Jagan Mohan Reddy, saying that he would permanently resign from Politics if in the next elections he lost to Jagan again.
