If it wasn’t for Covid-19 pandemic, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan would have kick-started Praja Darbar and Racha Banda programs by now.

As a prt of Racha Banda program, Jagan will be flying to rural areas across the state and interact with commoners go get a better understanding of feedback on the government.

Praja Darbar is a similar implementation and a part of this program, Jagan will be meeting common public at his camp office every morning.

Given the social distancing rules and other Covid-19 transmission risks, Jagan is not willing to start these two programs for now. However, he has asked his team to prepare the blueprint for these two schemes and he plans on commencing them early next year, say reports.

Notably, both these schemes were previously implemented by Jagan’s father Rajasekhar Reddy. He is hoping to follow his father’s footsteps for these two schemes which will bring him closer to the masses.
