Jagan orders for works to be resumed in Amaravati

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy hit a pause button on all the construction works in Amaravati after he assumed

Now, after a gap of 14 months, the CM has ordered the concerned authorities to resume construction of all projects in Amaravati. He asked them to coordinate with the Ministry of Finance to gather funds.

Things got a little heated after Jagan’s 3 Capital bill announcement. The case is still pending in the High Court, which announced a Status Quo notification on the 3 Capital Bill, after the Governor approved the bill.

The YSRCP government decided upon 3 Capitals after it was believed that there weren’t enough funds to create a new Capital in Amaravati. This was also done to ensure that development was equally distributed in the state.
