As the debate of passing NPR and NRC continue nationwide, it looks like Andhra Pradesh is not one of them. The Andhra Pradesh Government, headed by Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has stated its support to NPR.
Andhra Pradesh National Population Register (NPR) is about to get executed to the fullest in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The process is said to begin in the month of April, and extend up to the month of September. It is also said that there have been tests conducted in a few regions already.
The Andhra Pradesh government has also released G.O No. 124 in this regard. While the people of AP are worried about this, the government said that there is nothing that they have to worry about. In fact, the statement also said that no documents need to be submitted in this respect.
The process is being made as easy as possible to all the people of AP, and rules have already been set out for the process. On the other hand, it is already known that Congress is strictly opposing this bill.
