It is known that Janasena, CPI(M), and BSP jointly contested in 2019 Andhra Pradesh general elections. But this alliance did not work quite as expected and they won just 1 of the total 175 MLA seats.

After the election, Janasena cut ties with CPI and joined forces with BJP, which seems to have irked CPI leaders.

CPI Andhra Pradesh wing president Narayana said Pawan Kalyan does not have any integrity or loyalty towards his allies.

“Pawan Kalyan has zero loyalty and he cannot be trusted with anything. A year ago, he was in alliance with us and now, he joined with BJP who have completely contrasting ideologies. I wonder what his political plan of action is,” Narayana said.

Meanwhile, BJP and Janasena are said to be very much satisfied with their alliance and are planning to come out all guns blazing in the forthcoming local body elections.
