The chief minister of Telangana K Chandrasekhar Rao called for a high-level meeting with irrigation department officials this Thursday, October 2nd. He will be discussing the disputes related to Krishna waters distribution program.
Reportedly, KCR told to his subordinates that Andhra Pradesh government is provoking Telangana government with Krishna waters dispute. He wants to make this point in the forthcoming apex council meeting.
The TRS chief asked concerned authorities to come up with complete data regarding the water levels in rivers and the related distribution program.
An apex council meeting to sort out the disputes between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana is scheduled to take place on October 6th.
The representatives of governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are expected to take part in it. It is unclear if YS Jagan and KCR would take part in it.
