Liquor ban in AP: Jagan takes a key decision

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy recently revealed that the YCP government will be implementing a complete liquor ban in Andhra Pradesh by 2024.

YCP government will be working with Jana Chaitanya Vedika to formulate the liquor prohibition movement.

According to the latest reports, a total of 1000 liquor shops will soon be shut down, upon orders from the state government.

As of now, there are 4380 liquor outlets in AP and the state government has been earning Rs 16,000 crores per year from excise tax and duties.

Higher officials are presently working on this scheme and they will be submitting a report to Jagan regarding the implementation of liquor prohibition.
