BJP posted extremely poor numbers in Andhra Pradesh assembly and Lok Sabha elections. The part did not even get deposits in 175 assembly and 25 parliamentary constituencies.
In his recent public meeting, Modi said that the central government will provide all the necessary support to Andhra Pradesh.
A while ago, even Amit Shah said he would set special focus on Andhra Pradesh.
Now that the saffron party managed to bag 4 MP seats in Telangana, they would be hoping to extract a similar result in Andhra Pradesh as well.
If that is not possible, then the chances of BJP joining hands with YSRCP in the center are very high.
Either way, it looks like the BJP high command is determined to carve a mark for itself in Andhra Pradesh after witnessing a fairly decent result in Telangana elections.
