Telugu Desam Party is all set to face another big shock as one of the party MLAs, Sambasiva Rao is willing to leave the party and join the ruling party YSRC.
Sambasiva Rao won from Parchuru constituency in the last year’s assembly elections and he has been a firebrand leader for Telugu Desam Party for a long time now.
It is said that Sambasiva Rao is in touch with YSRCP high command and will be joining the party on the 30th of May.
Already, three MLAs including one of TDP’s most powerful leader, Vallabhaneni Vamsi have been staying away from the party. Now, another MLA is set to leave the party.
If these latest developments are to go by, Telugu Desam Party has 19 MLAs on its side. The party needs to have at least 18 MLAs on its side if it is to be considered as an opposition party in Andhra Pradesh.
