Telugu Desam Party national president Nara Chandrababu Naidu is yet to pick the president for the party’s Andhra Pradesh wing. There were multiple discussions regarding the same in the recently held Mahanadu.
It was said that TDP senior leader Achennayudu would be appointed as Andhra Pradesh TDP president but that doesn’t seem to be the case now. Chandrababu is apparently caught in two minds about whom to appoint as party president.
It is being said that a section of senior leaders are urging Chandrababu to appoint his son Nara Lokesh as Andhra Pradesh wing president. They are saying that Lokesh can gain some leadership skills and political finesse if he serves as the president.
On the other hand, TDP is looking to lure BC community by announcing Achennayudu as Andhra Pradesh wing president. It appears to be that either Achennayudu or Nara Lokesh will soon be appointed as Andhra Pradesh Telugu Desam Party president.
