TPCC Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy criticized the ruling TRS government of plunging the state into a debt that exceeds two lakh crores in the past five years.

Speaking at a public meeting, he stated, “The state was already in a debt of 69,000 crores before TRS came to power but the CM borrowed heavily after that and increased the debt to over 2.6 lakh crores. This is the reason behind the lagging of the state’s development.”

The Congress leader also slammed the TRS government for failing to fill up more than one lakh vacancies in the government sector and demanded immediate action on it.
