Telangana health director, Srinivas Rao said the state will report more Coronavirus positive cases in the months of June and July as the state is yet to witness the peak.
Srinivas Rao clarified that there are no traces of community transmission in Telangana thus far and that is a positive sign.
Also, Rao added that Telangana has performed over 30,000 Coronavirus tests till date. He went on to say that there is no need of ventilators to treat Coronavirus patients in Telangana.
Incidentally, the chief minister of Telangana K Chandrasekhar Rao had recently stated that there are only 4 containment zones in Telangana and all of them are in Hyderabad. If Telangana health director Srinivas Rao’s comments are to go by, the state will be reporting more and more cases in the next two months.
Telangana reported a total of 70 new cases in the past 24 hours.
