Tollywood actor dies due to Covid-19

The Covid-19 pandemic is affecting the Telugu film industry in more ways than one. The theatrical business has turned unpredictable owing to the lockdown. What’s even more troublesome is that more and more people related to Tollywood are contracting the virus with every passing day.

The latest news is that notes Telugu actor Kosuri Vengopal has died due to Covid-19.

Venugopal has been battling with Covid-19 for the past three weeks at a private hospital in Hyderabad and he breathed his last a few hours ago.

Venugopal is known for playing comical roles in films like Maryada Ramanna, Chalo, Pilla Zamindar, etc. Tollywood celebrities are expressing their distress over the demise of Venugopal, one of the senior actors in the industry.

The likes of Rajamouli, MM Keeravani, Bandla Ganesh, DVV Danayya, and many other noted personalities had contracted and later recovered from the virus till now.
