There is no official opposition to TRS in the state, yet. After the Lok Sabha Elections, BJP which won 4 seats in the state when compared to the 3 seats that were won by Congress, BJP declared itself as the opposition for TRS in the state.
Now that the state civic polls are fast approaching, many are assuming that these polls would make it abundantly clear as to which party really is the opposition to TRS in the state.
In the wake of these assumptions, State Congress President N Uttam Kumar Reddy said that the people of Telangana have realized that TRS and BJP are two sides of the same coin. He also said that ever since TRS came into power, the roads of the state, and particularly the city have gone from bad to worse, especially the drainage and sanitation system. He said that he was confident that the people of Telangana would notice all these shortcomings of the state government, and would vote for the right party.
