The police department had seized many two wheelers and four wheelers which violated regulations during the lockdown period in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Incidentally, the government of Andhra Pradesh has decided to start handing over the vehicles to their respective owners starting soon.
Well, many people expected that heavy fines would be levied on owners who will be getting their vehicles back, but that is not the case now.
Apparently, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has asked the police department to just collect a nominal fine of Rs 100 before handing over the vehicles to the owners.
As a result, the common public will feel relieved as they need not pay hefty fines in these tough circumstances. This is a big move from the government of Andhra Pradesh. Even the government of Telangana is expected to take a similar decision soon.
