TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu faced a humiliating situation recently after YSRCP won more than three quarters of the panchayat divisions in Kuppam constituency.
Now, YCP seems to be extremely confident of defeating Chandrababu Naidu in Kuppam constituency.
Speaking with media, Chittoor YCP MP Reddappa said Chandrababu Naidu will definitely not contest from Kuppam constituency in the next assembly elections especially after seeing local elections results.
“Chandrababu Naidu has clearly understood that he has lost his ground in Kuppam. I think he won’t contest from here in the next elections. If he does contest, he will definitely face a humiliating defeat and I can guarantee that.
YCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has assigned Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy with the responsibility of looking after the party’s activities in Chittoor district and he has been doing great work of late.
It remains to be seen if Chandrababu will really opt out of Kuppam race and contest from some other constituency or prove YCP wrong by winning from there.
