It is already known that the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched the ‘Jagananna Vasathi Deevena’ scheme in Vijayawada yesterday.

As per reports, the state government spent around Rs 2 crores for this grand event in Vijayawada yesterday.

The stage, decorations, and other works costed Rs 1 crore. The chief minister’s protocol reportedly amounted to another Rs 50 lakh. The total amount that was spent on this event that lasted for three hours was Rs 2 crores, say reports.

As one would expect, pro-TDP media has been going really hard on Jagan and other state government officials for spending so much money on the meeting.

It needs to be seen how the YCP government will justify their big spending.
