YS Jagan picks his chief adviser

The newly elected chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has picked his chief adviser, Ajay Kallam, who will be serving for three years.

Ajay will be receiving a salary of Rs 2.5 lakh per month and will be assigned a team of 10 assistants and associates.

Ajay will be advising Jagan in each and every department. He will be taking key decisions in the chief minister’s office as well.

The senior officer is now entitled to cabinet level status and it will be the case for the next three years. The state government has already passed GO, confirming the same.
