YS Jagan is set to take charge as the new chief minister of Andhra Pradesh on May 30th.
Many YCP MLAs are pinning hopes on cabinet berths and Jagan has promised minister berths to just two of them (Alla Ramakrishna Reddy and Marri Rajasekhar) till now.
The latest news is that Jagan has finalized the candidate for deputy chief minister post.
Apparently, YCP senior leader Ummareddy Venkateshwarulu will be bagging this post in Jagan’s cabinet.
The senior politician has been a key strategist for the party ever since its inception and Jagan is willing to rope him into his cabinet.
Mekathoti Sucharitha and Ambati Rambabu are other favorites to land minister posts.
