Sharwanand- Sai Pallavi’s romantic entertainer, Padi Padi Leche Manasu is carrying superb buzz among the audience. After a good round of promotions, the film has hit the screens today. Let’s see how it is.

The movie takes off in Nepal where Suriya(Sharwanand) starts narrating his love story with Vaishali (Sai Pallavi). Now, the film opens in Kolkatta, Suriya falls for Vaishali at first sight and after repeat trails, she falls for him. When everything is going fine in their love life an unexpected incident separates them. What us that incident and how will the lead pair deal with it? How will they clear all the issues and reunion towards the end? forms the rest of the story.

Director Hanu Raghavapudi, who disappointed with his earlier film, LIE has come up with a love story this time and tried to narrate it in his own style. His writing and the way he designed main lead roles in good but the flaws in the script disturb the film’s flow in the second half. If he would have worked more on wring a better version for the latter half the result would have been surly better.

Hero Sharwanand and heroine Sai Pallavi impress with their lively performance throughout the film. Especially, Sharwa’s attitude in the first half and Sai Pallavi’s emotional performance during second half bring a lot of depth to the proceedings.

Sunil, Vennela Kishore and Priyadarshi’s comedy evoke good laughs at regular intervals.

Plus Points:

Chemistry between the lead pair

Songs and picturization

Kolkatta city is visuals explored beautifully

Minus Points:

A few lagged scenes

Confusing narration in the latter half

All in all, Padi Padi Leche Manasu is a romantic love story which impresses with its engaging drama. Director Hanu’s writing and the lead pair chemistry are the biggest assets for the film. If you neglect a few flaws here and there in the latter half, the film will end up as a must watch flick for this weekend. Go watch it.
