The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) has launched free medical care for poor Brahmins on Sunday.
The TRS official spokesperson Dr Venugopala Chary inaugurated the Brahmin hospital at Chikkadpaly in Hyderabad which will provide free health care for economically backward Brahmins in the city.
Recently, the TRS government in Telangana has launched several welfare schemes and programs for poor Brahmins.
TRS spokesperson Dr Venugopal appreciated theorganizationBharatha Brahmin Sansthan for providing various welfare schemes and providing free medical services to the community.
Giri Prasad to the media that their organisation will be issuing health cards to eligible candidates who would be selected through an application form process.
The Brahmin Sansthan would be providing free homoeopathic and allopathic treatment to poor Brahmins. A team of general physicians, gynaecologists and other specialists would be available for free consultation from 6 am to 9 pm every day, said Giri Prasad Sharma.
